Preparation for Your Upcoming Kambo Ceremony

Thank you for your commitment to this sacred healing journey. As you prepare to sit with the Kambo medicine, we honor your courage and intention to heal, release, and reconnect.

Here are important guidelines to help you prepare both physically and energetically for your upcoming session:

1. Fasting & Diet:

  • Please fast for at least 8–10 hours prior to the session. Ideally, no food or drink (including coffee, smoothies, or supplements) the morning of your session.

  • Hydration is important, so drink plenty of water the day before the ceremony. We will guide you on water intake during the session itself — do not overhydrate beforehand.

  • Avoid alcohol, red meat, processed foods, and any other intoxicants or stimulants for 24–48 hours prior.

  • If you're on any medications, especially antidepressants or blood pressure medication, please let us know beforehand.

2. Setting Your Intentions:

Kambo works in deep, often mysterious ways. Take time to sit with yourself and reflect:

  • What are you ready to let go of?

  • What are you calling in?

  • What emotional, physical, or spiritual healing are you seeking?

Write down your intentions and keep them close to your heart. You may be invited to share them before the ceremony begins.

3. What to Bring:

  • 1 full gallon of water (preferably spring or purified) – we will instruct you on how and when to drink during the session.

  • Wear comfortable, loose clothing, and bring extra clothes in case you wish to change after your purge.

  • Bring a towel, a small blanket or shawl if you get cold, and any sacred item that supports your process (such as a crystal, amulet, or journal).

4. Aftercare:

It’s best to spend time in a quiet, restful space following your session. Allow integration and reflection. Avoid heavy foods, stimulation, or important decision-making immediately after.

If you have any questions or specific concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out.

We look forward to walking with you on this profound path of healing and awakening.

With reverence,
